Matt Fulks

CYITML Executive Director

A nearly life-long Kansas City area resident, Matt Fulks became the Executive Director of the “C” You In The Major Leagues Foundation in May 2015.

A native of Wichita, Kansas, Fulks started a career in journalism in 1989, while attending Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, after his baseball career was cut short due to a lack of ability. Besides being the author/co-author of more than 25 books, including Dayton Moore’s More Than A Season and One Good Thing, Fulks’ background includes working as the managing editor for a book publisher, as the sports director at a radio station in the Nashville market, as an International Eligibility Representative for the NAIA Eligibility Center, in both sales and financial services for the former GTE Wireless, as a church janitor, and as a forklift driver.

He lives in the Kansas City area with his wife Libby. They have three kids and two Weimaraners named after Elvis. (Well, the kids aren’t all named after Elvis, but the dogs are.)
