At C You In The Major Leagues, we believe that while not every student will play professional sports, every student can develop character to become a major leaguer in life. We know that as a parent or guardian, you are the primary influence in your child’s life. Our C-10 Mentoring Program is designed to come alongside you, providing your high school student with an additional layer of support, guidance, and community.
About C-10 Mentoring & Leadership Program
C-10 pairs students with a mentor and together empowers students with essential life and job skills, preparing your student for a successful transition after high school, whether they’re going to college, trade school, the military or directly into the workforce.

What is the Commitment?
We understand your family has a busy schedule. The C-10 program typically involves:
Weekly Group Sessions: Usually held on Wednesday evenings during the school year, where students and mentors gather for the curriculum and guest speakers.
Service Projects: Typically once a month, usually on a Wednesday but occasionally on a weekend, students serve the Kansas City community.
One-on-One Interaction: Mentors and students check in regularly to discuss goals and progress.

Thanks to our generous donors, the C-10 program is provided at no cost to the students or their families.
How are students selected?
Students from the greater KC area can apply. Applications are reviewed by our selection committee.
How can I support my student?
The best way is to encourage regular attendance at sessions and talking to them about that month’s C word.
How are mentors selected?
Mentors go through a stringent vetting process including an interview, reference checks, background check, and training.
