C-10 Podcast: Danni Boatwright, Ep 13

On this episode we talk with “Survivor” winner, entrepreneur, coach, wife and mom, Danni Boatwright.

Danni grew up in the Kansas City area — Tonganoxie, KS, to be precise — as a huge fan of the Royals and Chiefs. And, since she probably couldn’t play for either team when she “grew up,” she wanted to be a sportscaster.

That’s not exactly how things worked out, but she has been a show host, and she did travel the world as a model, but she made a name for herself as the winner of “Survivor” in Guatemala in 2005. She was a contestant on the show again this past spring, in season 40, “Winners at War.”

On this episode with Danni, we take a behind-the-scenes look at “Survivor” with a slant toward leadership, and we talk about the challenges of being an entrepreneur during a pandemic, as well as a mom to two boys and the wife to former Chiefs lineman Casey Wiegmann.
