This week we’re chatting with someone who has a special place in our hearts (learn why during the episode), Dr. Matt Tidwell, who is the assistant dean at the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Kansas. Dr. Tidwell also serves on the Board of Directors for the International Association of Business Communicators – one of the world’s largest communications associations with more than 9,000 members on five continents.
Prior to his academic career, Dr. Tidwell worked in marketing communications as a vice president at two Midwest communications agencies and served in communications leadership roles for companies including Great Plains Energy and St. Luke’s Health Systems. And he’s the co-host of a podcast focused on marketing professional development called “The Cultivated Marketer.”
