THANK YOU to everyone who joined Dayton Moore and Friends for the 3rd annual Wiffle ball event benefiting “C” You In The Major Leagues!

Crown Town Wiffle Weekend is our biggest fundraiser of the year in supporting the C-10 Mentoring & Leadership Program, sending boys and girls to camps at the Urban Youth Academy, as well as families in crisis Greater Kansas City.
Teams of all ages are invited to participate in our grand Wiffle ball tournament. Not sure if Wiffle is your thing? Haven’t swung the good ol’ thin yellow bat since the 1970s? No problem. The Monarchs Division is for teams that are looking for some competitive fun.
Is your team stacked with former college baseball or softball players trying to win it all? No problem there either. The Royals Division is perfect for teams who seek the fame and glory that comes with winning it all.
Or, are you in it for only the charity aspect, and you’d be perfectly fine playing a couple of games in the afternoon and then calling it a day, avoiding the tournament? The Charity Division is for you.
If you’re still not convinced, here are a few photos from the 2018 event. Or you can watch this highlight video from last year.
The cost per team begins at $2,500 for 8-12 players of any skill level, 14 years of age and up. (So, about $250 per player.) Teams can pay with a check or credit card, or take advantage of peer-to-peer fundraising through a page on this site. Whichever way you choose to pay, the basic $2,500 team fee isn’t due until July 8, 2019.
Ultimately, our goal is to have fun while helping people in our community.

NEW IN 2019!
This year the tournament will be held on one afternoon/night at the Urban Youth Academy, after a special leadership lunch at the UYA. And then on Saturday morning, we’ll take the games to Kauffman Stadium’s Little K! That’s where we’ll play the division championship games, as well as the Sponsor and Celebrity game.
What else is new? For the Monarchs Division, the more recreational of the two divisions, teams will provide their own pitcher. In the Royals Division, for the more serious teams, games will be played more like “real” baseball. (More details on the rules will be posted here soon.)
How Far Does Your Registration or Sponsorship Go?
A basic team is $2,500, but as you can see from the Sponsorship Page, we have cool opportunities and naming sponsorships that start at $5,000. So, what kind of an impact will you be making in Kansas City? Here are some ways the funds will be used.
